*Provenance :
-Odette Duval-Dovillers (1912-1991), étudiante et amie d'Amrita Sher-Gil à l'École des Beaux-Arts de Paris, où elle fréquenta l'atelier de Lucien Simon, (1930-1934) ;
-1991 : legs d'Odette Duval-Dovillers au bénéfice de M. et Mme P., amis proches d'Odette Duval-Dovillers, institués légataires universels en l'absence de descendants ;
-Collection privée parisienne (après la vente de la Nature morte au pichet et aux fruits par Amrita Sher-Gil et de quelques tableaux d'Odette Duval-Dovillers).

*L'œuvre est accompagnée d'un rapport du Laboratoire Art Analysis en date du 14 avril 2026.

-Odette Duval-Dovillers (1912-1991), student and friend of Amrita Sher-Gil at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, where she attended the studio of Lucien Simon (1930-1934) ;
-1991: Bequeathed by Odette Duval-Dovillers to Mr. and Mrs. P., close friends of Odette Duval-Dovillers appointed sole residuary legatees in the absence of descendants ;
-Private collection, Paris (following the sale of Nature morte au pichet et aux fruits by Amrita Sher-Gil along with several paintings by Odette Duval-Dovillers).
